Weekly Inspiration- Romans 8:39

How is it already (basically) June?! It’s like yesterday was New Years and this year is just flying by.  Not that this is a bad thing, this year has just honestly gone by really fast. The more I look at me yearly agenda, the more & more I realize how this year is already half way over- I’ve just been too busy to even notice. Sometimes, it’s really hard to stay connected to everyone through our  busy lives. For example, have not seen some of my best gals in over a month. Not that anything happened- I’ve just been busy, etc and so have they. It’s times like this that I feel distant from others, but I’ve learned that that’s totally okay & normal. I’ve also found that it’s in these quiet times that I am able to refocus and re-energize myself (Talk about a win-win situation)!  I’m not one for remembering verses, my brain doesn’t work that way- but I do recall some of my favs at random times. This verse is not one that I think about often, but when I do, it’s always timely. Romans 8:39 reads:

“..Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

I just love this verse! It’s such a simple reminder that even if we feel far away from society due to our lack of free time in our schedules during those busy weeks or anything else, that God is always right here with us. This week- take some time to remember these words- “You are never alone.” Whether you are having to work late hours due to a hectic work week, have tons of things to do around the house, or are just feeling overwhelmed in general- remember that God is right there with you, and he for sure is not going anywhere. I know I’m not the only one who needs a reminder of this from time to time & I’m so thankful that there’s little reminders like this that always put a smile on my face.

Until Next Time!
