This week, I was able to work on a fun campaign with a company that I have worked with for a little while now & it got me thinking- the holidays are near! It seems that people this year are decorating for Christmas way more earlier than normal and are for SURE in the holiday spirit. Since Ry & I moved to Chicago earlier this year, we are trying to figure out some new traditions to start doing yearly.
Which made me reach out to some friends & ask them what were some traditions that they had. I will be the first to say that I am NOT a phone talker- I would much rather text, etc. than talk on the phone. Talking to some of my girlfriends this week made me so unexpectedly happy- I didn’t even realize it until after.
This week, my challenge for you is to reach out to an old friend. Maybe you’re like me & no longer live close to family- give them a call too. In our day & age, it is easy to get wrapped in our scheduled routine, that it’s nice to switch it up sometimes. You never know how reaching out to someone could make their day…or even their week!
