Happy Wednesday! This week’s weekly inspiration comes from Exodus 23:1-
“Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness.”
I love people watching! I truly believe everyone has their own story & journey and so much can be learned by watching people. I love watching children because of their innocence and kindness (most times) towards one another. On the other hand, I love watching & listening to the elderly because of all of the wisdom they have learned throughout the years. I have always loved watching people and don’t know exactly how or when this started.
One thing I have learned throughout the years of watching others is that you cannot truly judge someone by what you see alone. Many times, situations are not what they seem and cannot be understood until you know every part of the story. It is because of this fact alone that I have also learned to try my hardest not to speak badly about a person or a situation, especially if I am not directly involved. Spreading “false reports” (aka things that lies) is something that can be so harmful to another person. In addition to this, it is also just a bad habit to have!
This week, my challenge for you is to think a little more about what you’re about to say about someone before you say it. You never know just how powerful your words are, and how much they could hurt someone. Besides, it’s always more fun to spread love & positivety instead!
Until Next Time!
