Happy Wednesday! This weeks weekly inspiration comes from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7-
“Love is patient, Love is kind…”
This verse is very well know and one that many have heard before! 1 Corinthians 13 has been scripted in movies, pinned all over pinterest, as well as other things. Needless to say, most people know this verse. I for one can say I am a very impatient person! I hate waiting for anything, traffic irritates me, as well as when others are late. I was not gifted with the “patience gene” as some of my other friends and family have been (thankfully). Furthermore, I even have a hard time exercising patience even when I know I need to. Patience is just not my thing.
The truth is.. regardless of if patience is our “thing” or not, it is something that we should all strive to have. This week, my challenge for you is simple- try to be a little more patient! Remember that being patient is something we should strive to be on a regular basis and a trait that we should exercise! Being patient towards others not only shows our love for them, but allows Gods love to shine through us as well!
