Happy Wednesday! This week’s Wardrobe Wednesday comes from Proverbs 14:29-
“Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.”
The generation of millennials roaming around today are known to many as the “microwave generation”. Many do not having the patience to wait for anything but instead want everything handed to them immediately. This can be seen prevalent as we have so many conveniences being made, from subscriptions that ship clothing and other goods right to our doorsteps, to the lines at any drive-thru at any given moment. Patience is a virtue that is used by fewer and fewer individuals on a daily basis.
In the bible, having patience is spoken of frequently, often when referring to receiving your blessings. Patience is something that is needed in order to undergo processes in life, for it is most times the key to something that is wanted. Although being patient is often unconventional and inconvenient, patience is simply a necessity. This week, my challenge for you is to be a little more patient the rest of the week. Try not to feel the need to rush something only because you want the outcome now and feel you can’t wait any longer. Any process is simply a chain of reactions that is needed to have a great outcome, regardless of the situation. All good things come in God’s timing.
Until next time!
