Happy Wednesday! This week’s Wardrobe Wednesday comes from James 1:2-3-
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers & sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith preserves perseverance.”
When I was having my bible time this week, I saw this verse and literally stopped in my tracks. I highlighted, underlined, & put it on a sticky note in my bathroom because it was so good! I love, love, LOVE this verse for so many reasons as it is the perfect reminder of how strong we were meant to be. I have always been a very positive person, constantly trying to see the good in everyone & looking for the positives of any situation I’m in. Although I have some friends who tell me I’m crazy for always being so “happy-go-lucky”, it is often that sooner or later they understand why.
My faith has grown tremendously throughout the years & I am so thankful for this. Not because of the amount of “bible times” I’ve had in a week, but because of some of the circumstances I’ve dealt with and some of the amazing things I’ve seen happen in peoples lives. I’ve heard stories of diseases disappearing, people receiving blessings in the mail, and other great things. Although all situations are different, one thing is always a variable- they’re faith. Having faith in difficult situations can be hard, almost unbearing at times. It’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you don’t know when the tunnel is going to end. This verse reminds us that faith is the substance that pushes us to limits we wouldn’t imagine possible! This week, my challenge for you is to put a little more faith towards something you’ve been praying for. Maybe you want a new job & are waiting patiently (or impatiently) for a new one, or maybe you have dreams of starting a business. Whatever your goals are, faith is the thing that will help push through your hardships every single time!

Until next time!

Wow! What an incredible verse! It’s always hard for me to be positive in such hardship, but I definitely think praying is such a great outlet!
