Happy Wednesday! This weeks Wardrobe Wednesday comes from Psalm 55:22-
“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”
The word shaken is found in the dictionary as ” to become dislodged and fall.” The message in this verse in simple- when you cast your cares onto God, he will not let you fall. As long as you trust in God, you will not be shaken- every hardship will come to pass and every unforeseen battle can be overcome! In order for this to happen, you must first allow yourself to let go of control & let God take care of your problems-completely.
Letting go of your worries allows God to change situations in ways that we sometimes don’t see possible. This week, I challenge you to write down three things that you need to let go of on a sticky note. For the rest of this week, put this list somewhere you can see it on a regular basis. Sometime each day, say a prayer that God will allow you let go of control in the areas of your life that give you stress. Pray that God will strengthen you to be able to cast your worries upon him and began to worry less!
