Happy Wednesday! This week’s Wardrobe Wednesday comes from Ecclesiastes 9:4-
“Anyone who is among the living has hope-even a live dog is better off than a dead lion.”
The first month of 2016 is already almost to an end! By now, I’m sure most of us have already began to slack a little bit on our new years resolutions, and some might have given up completely already! This verse in the bible has always been so meaningful to me, it’s so short yet so amazing! The verse simply says to keep hope- a live dog is better than a dead lion. I like to use the analogy that the lion represents fear and the dog reprents dreams, goals, and ambitions. As strong as lions are, a dog that is alive and well is stronger than a lion that is dead. This is how we should compare our dreams and fears-although our fears might be strong, as long as we continue to push towards our dreams and keep our faith, everything that God has planned for your life will always come to pass. Never let doubt or fear keep you from what you were born to do!
