The 6 pairs of denim I’ll be wearing all summer

I’ve been revamping my closet the last few months & I feel like I’m finally liking (again) the clothes that I have! After having Londyn, I felt like my style changed so much & I was really struggling to decide on my personal style, what I actually liked but also felt comfortable in. After talking to a lot of my girlfriends with kids, I quickly realized that this is a “thing” and 100% normal feeling. Right around Londyns first birthday, I started revamping my closet piece by piece and really spent time figuring out what I wanted my new “mom style” to be. I wanted to feel chic and put together, but also comfortable at all times, ha!

I realized very quickly that I didn’t have good basics- my closet was full of trendy pieces, lots of jumpsuits and dresses and matching set. The last few months I’ve spent some time investing in quality denim (some old + some new) that I can wear year round for all types of occasions. Below are the 6 pairs of denim that I will be wearing all summer long. All of them are very versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. This post contains affiliate links.

I saw these online a few months ago & knew I had to have them! They are quite the splurge but are such a great staple items. They come in multiple colors, but I got the light/medium wash since those to me are the most versatile. They also run a size big so I sized down one. I’m 5’7 and they are the perfect length to wear with heels or flats. Love them & am so glad I got them. They are available at many places, Nordstroms, Anthropologie & online at Revolve.

My pair of white denim is old, but I linked some similars. White denim is a great summer essential pair of denim because it goes with everthing & the raw edge on mine make them feel very casual and laid back.

Medium wash denim skirt

I got this denim skirt actually late this spring & really like it. Since long skirts have made a comback recently, I was having flash backs to my childhood but I love how they came back a little more modernized! The one I got is a really great medium wash and has a front middle slit to make it not feel so “heavy”. Very easy to wear with a t shirt and heels or sneakers to dress is down even more.

Okay this skort was a little out of my comfort zone, but I love it so much and am glad I decided to purchase it. It has been going in and out of stock for months & I just happened to get lucky one day and checked my notifications and they had my size in stock for literally an hour. I ordered it one size up per the review & am glad I did since it runs small. The wash I got was indigo, so this can be worn into late fall months also. I really like it so far and am glad to style it.

Black wide leg denim

I got this pair of denim last winter for our trip to Paris & they are too comfortable! I got my regular size and they are a great length to wear with flats, sneakers or low heels. The wide leg doesn’t feel overpowering and the washed black color is a great black. Since it’s not too dark it works for summer months too! To lighten them up, wear a white top and gold accessories.

It’s no secret I’m an agolde fan & these have been in my closet for a few years! The high-rise is so flatttering and even more so when sized up for a baggier look. The wash is also great and makes them feel very casual. They are regular length, but I always cuff the bottom to make them feel a little more elevated.

Hope this guide helps this summer for all of your denim looks!

B
