Even though I am not a huge fan of doing too many outdoor activities, there is one thing that I love doing when the weather is nice & that is going on picnics! My mom gave to me years ago her picnic basket that she used to use when she was younger & I love to pack it with snacks (mostly cheese & wine!) when it’s nice outside and head to the park. Hers is vintage, but I rounded up some that are currently available and similar.
Since the weather has not been the best around here lately, we haven’t gone on a picnic in a long time but finally went on one a few weekends ago. We were outside at the park for a few hours and it reminded me of how much I love them. Between the fresh air, the new summer salad recipe that we packed up & brought with us and watching Londyn play with the grass and went- it was truly the best time ever. I can’t wait for the weather to be nicer more often so we can go on them more!
