Our patio refresh: outdoor furniture and decor
When we moved last year, I knew that we were going to be redecorating our house room by room and I didn’t want to rush. The only room “goal” I had after Londyns room was to complete the patio before it got too late into spring. In Houston, Ryan & I diy’d (is that how you even say that?) his backyard and completely redid it. Even though it was small, we had so much fun and it became out outside oasis. I wanted to create something in our new home since we have outdoor space and a much larger backyard. We started last month & are almost done but I couldn’t wait to share. Ryan gave me a stick budget to stick to for this project and below are all the things I’v gotten so far! This post contains affiliate links.
Outdoor furniture
Most of the outdoor decor I’ve gotten is from Target and Walmart. Actually, almost everything is from Target except my egg chair. I have always been a fan of Targets online only furniture and have found that the quality is normally soo good an equal to name brand furniture stores that I normally buy from. I found the couch, ottoman and accent table from there and they were all very reasonable priced.
The egg chair I got from Walmart! I am not a huge Walmart shopper, but saw someone online say that Walmart recently launched a new patio collection and it was worth checking out. I am so glad I did, because this chair was only $300! The only is with an “*” next to it because although that still might be a a bit pricey, others that I found that were the same style were about double or more that price so I saw it as a steal. I can say also that it’s the most used seat outside, Ryan, myself & Londyn love the chair so much- it’s very comfy to sit it.
Decor
Although we are not done with the decor yet, I did find an outdoor rug that I loved, of course from Target. It’s black so does not show dirt/grass/etc. too easy and I really like it. I’ve actually contemplated buying another one for inside because I like it so much! A couple planters I also found and lastly I got some organizing cubes. Eventually we will change the storage and buy a nicer item to store things in, but right now our old cube organizer & vintage bar cart are just fine!
