Now that we are moving, I realized that I never shared her nursery pictures! Ryan & I spent so much time decorating Londyn’s room before she got her that I’m actually quite baffled at myself that I never shared pictures, haha Nevertheless, putting together our baby girls room before she came home was so much fun & as she has grown to be almost one- her room is her favorite place to be! Between her toys & the bright colorful wallpaper, we can tell she loves it in there and it is truly her safe haven.
For her room, we wanted something semi simple, but functional. Being my office before it was her room, the size of the bedroom is actually not very big so we knew we would only have room for necessities- her crib, a rocking chair, a dresser and that was about it furniture wise. We searched for months to curate items for her room that would fit and not make the space feel too small and loved how it all came together!
We chose a bold print wallpaper on one wall only to give the room some color & used the wall to build her bookcase on the opposite side. This allowed for us to have space for her toys without adding more furniture, which would’ve felt crammed. We also spent a lot of time organizing her closet & drawers to maximize space.
She has loved her room so far & I can’t wait to decorate her next one. For the new house, her room will be a little more neutral & not so bright since it will be bigger. I’m excited to start planning that one & once again watch the vision that I have come to life!
