Well.. if you told me a month ago that today would be week 2 of working from home for me I would for sure tell you you were crazy! Things in the world are for sure a little uncertain right now & totally unexpected. Going into this week I really don’t know what to expect, but I know that everything is going to be okay!
Waking up & not going to the office has been a little different for me…but in a good way! I actually find myself getting more done in the mornings and a lot more focused. I still pretend I’m going out of course & do what Ive been calling “get dressed to go to the kitchen”…LOL. There is just something about getting ready in the mornings that starts my day off right & I can’t not do it. Before Covid-19, I was really into my weekday looks of pairing my favorite graphic tees with a cute blazer or cami & a pair of my favorite denim!
This look for me is not only super comfy..but also great for my busy lifestyle! I’ve always been a blazer girl – they’re perfect for the office but also great for a not-so-casual second layer on the weekends. I especially like to wear them with denim shorts & heels in the summer time!
…& you can’t forget graphic tees! I was not always a graphic tee person..I actually always thought they looked sloppy until I started styling them! I especially am liking them right now with a pair of light washed denim and some heels! Shared some of my current ones below that I am loving- most of these are great for the next upcoming months too!
I’m planning on making this week a good one..no matter what uncertainty is in the world. I am seeing this “quiet time” as a refresh and more of a slowing down life & enjoying things for what they are! I hope everyone has a good week too!
