Now that we have been back for a few weeks…I am getting back to normal life! It is SO true when they say that planning a wedding takes so much time that once it’s over you don’t know what to do with yourself, ha! I have ben enjoying life being a little slow though, to say the least. I figured it was time to round of all of my favorite things about our trip to Greece! Even though this wasn’t our original honeymoon destination, it ended up being such a beautiful and perfect location to spend as newlyweds. Read below to see where we stayed!
Choosing a place to stay in Santorini wasn’t to easy! With so many beautiful places to choose from, we wanted to make sure we were close enough to everything, but still far away so that it was peaceful. I don’t think we could’ve done any better with our choice of staying at Santi Maris! It was sooo beautiful & was the perfect combination of luxury & Greece charm. From the villa that we stayed in to the amazing pool..it was a good pick for sure.
Ryan surprised me with a special package when we got there..roses in our suite, champagne & chocolate (All of m favorite things!). We stayed in one of their 1 bedroom villas with a patio & hot tub. It was an amazing room & worth every penny…I felt like we were in our own little paradise every morning. See our entire room here!
Most of ya’ll know I like my food (haha!) and one thing that stood out about this place was the Breakfast! Every morning a FULL Greek breakfast was brought to our room. We were never able to finish it because it was so much food but we looked forward to it every day.
After that, we would go sit in our jacuzzi on our patio (which was also another plus) as we planned our day. The great thing about this resort is that it’s within walking distance to all of the shops & restaurants. This really came in handy when we were headed out to dinner at night time.
The pool is beautiful too but honestly not as big as we expected it to be. Still, the views are gorgeous and the Spritz’ are great too! All in all, Santo Maris Oia is for sure one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed and if we were to go to Santorini in a couple of years or so..I wouldn’t be too mad if we stayed again!
