Can you believe the holiday Season is here? It’s mind blowing how fast this year has gone by, but nonetheless I am excited about this holiday season. I love the joy and happiness December brings- between family get together, holiday parties and dinners, I always find myself looking for a reason to get dresses up and go do something fun this time of the year!
Easy to recreate holiday outfits
I created some holiday outfits that are easy to recreate below for all different types of occasions. These are also great for holiday parties, date nights & family get-togethers!
Creating a holiday outfit doesn’t mean you have to go buy something new. In fact, you can simply pull things you already have from your closet to create a festive look. Below are some ideas that I have pulled together, from ways to wear metallic shades this season, how to dress up a simple dress, and ways to style black leather pants.
Metallic hues
One way I love to create a holiday outfit is to add metallic! I normally don’t wear metallic but this time of the year it’s the perfect color/hue to add to any outfit to make it more festive. In fact, a classy way to do this is by wearing a satin skirt in gold or silver. This can also be worn to church or a holiday work party. For date night, you could also wear something more fun like metallic pants with some heels.
You could also mix metallics into your wardrobe this holiday season by wearing a metallic top! Tone this look down by pairing it with neutral bottoms, or keep is lux and elevated by pairing it with even more pops of color, such as red.
Leather pants & a top
I am a fan of leather pants, anytime of the year! Leather pants are such a closet staple since they are so easy to be dressed up or down. For a classic look, pair leather pants with a crisp white button down that can be tucked in for a more formal event, or left tucked out with some heels for a more effortless look.
Since leather can be dressed up so easily, wearing a simple but chic black top with some black heels is one of the easiest way to create a “night time” look wearing leather pants.
Dress with boots
You can’t go wrong with a dress this season, and there are so many to choose from! From classic styles like a houndstooth/plaid jumper to maxi dresses, wearing a dress is always an easy option to create a well put together outfit. Pair your dresses with knee high boots to make your outfit more chic.

Bedazzled anything
You will never catch me wearing sequins normally, but that changes during the holiday! One trend I am really loving right now is wide leg sequin pants. They look fun & are easy to wear with a simple top. With these, I suggest to keep every other part of your outfit simple to not “overdo” it. If, though, you are looking to stand out from the crowd- you can always wear a bedazzled matching set!
I also love a classic & chic black dress that has jewels on it for a holiday look. This outfit also looks very put together & even classier with some black tights underneath.
Whether you wear sequins, a bedazzles skirt or metallic hues this season, but sure to feel happy and festive in your holiday outfits!

B
