Weekly Inspiration- Galatians 6:4-5

Happy Wednesday! This weeks weekly inspiration comes from Galatians 6:4-5 –

“Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else”

I’ve always loved the saying “Everyone’s race is different” because it’s literally so true! Everyone is born in their own image & has their own gifts & uniqueness. I mean, if we want to get like super technical, even biological twins have things that are different about them. No one is like another and that’s something that I have always found so interesting about the world we live in, there is always something to learn about someone else.

Comparing ourselves to others is such a harmful thing to do, but also so easy. With social media allowing us to paint the picture of what we want other to see, judgement, both good and bad, is at an all time high. Filters and make-up have become so many peoples go-to in terms of showing their true self and comparing our personal journey to others we look up to has become the norm. The bible tells us so different ya’ll! We are each born completely different talents, and each have our own journey ahead of us. If we continue to focus on those around us and never ourselves, we will find later that we have passed our blessings due to looking at others around us, comparing what we don’t have vs. what they do.

This week, my challenge for you is to try to not compare yourselves to others as much. If you see something about someone that you admire, instead of comparing that to what you don’t have, maybe jot down some ideas as to how you can achieve the things that you want for your own life instead! No two journeys in life are the same, and everyone has their own final destination.

Until Next Time!
