Buffalo Checkered Top & My Current Fav Brown Boots

Happy Monday! I know Christmas came & left but I am still feeling the Christmas spirit! I got this top specifically for the Holidays this year & haven’t stopped wearing it yet. It was actually supposed to be for my Christmas photos with my two fur babies, but that clearly didn’t turned out as planned, LOL. It’s okay though, at least I now have a cute shirt for casual days where I don’t feel like thinking about what I’m wearing. Since the print is a little much- you really don’t need anything else to complete this look.

I’ve never really been a plaid fan or even a red fan really & recently just became a fan of both. Red was always too bold for me and I felt like it makes a person stand out too much- so I stayed away for a while. I have learned to grow into liking red slowly, so this top was a start. I didn’t make resolutions this year as I normally do, but just have big picture goals instead. One of those is to live more fearlessly & bold, so I think I’m headed on the right path, ha! My boots are from Nordstrom and I always get so many compliments on them! They are hands down my current go to pair- I love how I can dress them up and down really easily! I only have the brown ones for now, but am seriously thinking about getting the black ones too. They’re Treausure & Bond and my second pair of shoes from the brand that is slowly becoming a go to of mine. Oh and can’t forget about my bag! It’s a super steal if you are able to snag it on sale and perfect for work. It holds all of my work things, plus some other random items & has a removable “pocket” that you can use as a clutch.

I told myself this year I would do better about buying random things that I actually don’t really need. Day 7 is here already and I’m doing pretty well- I bought a few things this weekend but they were a semi need so I think it’s okay & 100% justified. This upcoming week, I will attempt to do better.
