Happy Monday! It’s been a bit of a busy past couple weeks at work + this cold weather has made me lazy (sorry, not sorry!). It’s actually cold for once here in Houston and this last weekend we were actually under freeze warming. Of course, since my family lives in Ohio in which there is tons of snow, this was actually kind of funny to me. Needless to say, I snuggled in the house all weekend with my furbabies, Netflix & low card snacks!
So far, 2019 is off to a great start! I’ve gotten a good amount of things done & have even sucked to my budget (okay its only been like 15 days but still). I’m also trying to finish up some books that I have had and deciding what to start reading next. I have a really, REALLY bad habit of buying lots of books and then reading them all at the same time, so that is for sure something I am trying to change this year. Currently, I am reading Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis & I love it! I’m not done yet, so I won’t give my review yet- but I for sure can say if you have not read it I highly recommend! I start traveling for work next week & want to be done before I go, so I promise my review will be up soon!
Speaking of traveling- I was pulling out my outfits for next week (bc I always pack extra early in fear that I will forget something important), and found this black dress that I will for sure be bringing! I love this thing- it’s the perfect 1 pc for during the day but can easily be dressed up at night time with some OTK boots & a leather jacket! Not to mention it’s perfect to pack because it folds up so small!
I linked my outfit here as well as some similars that also would work for this look. It’s actually all at a pretty good price and I know I’m not the only one who likes a good deal! Finding more deals is actually one of my goals for this year- I want to spend less on material things & more on experience, knowledge, et. etc. Speaking of knowledge- what are you currently reading? I am trying to figure out what books to read next. I already have a few in mind, but when it comes to books- you can honestly never have too many options!
Until Next Time!,
B
